Tchaikovsky-Ballet in the “Fantasy of the White Nights” film

The St. Petersburg Tchaikovsky Ballet Theatre took part in the creation of “Fantasy of the White Nights” film (“Romeo and Juliet of the Cold War”) directed by Igor Zaitsev.

There were costumes and decorations from the St. Petersburg Tchaikovsky Ballet Theatre used in this film.

The director of  Tchaikovsky-Ballet, Pavel Elkin, and the creative director, Elizabeth Menshikova , were consulting the actors during filming. They also appeared in the episodes: Pavel Elkin played the technical director of the theatre and Elizabeth Menshikova as a choreographer in the ballet academy.
